Lara Jade has been my favorite photographer since I was sixteen.
Interestingly enough, she was also sixteen when I discovered her. As I’ve grown up, I’ve gotten to watch her work change and grow with her.
She’s gone from dark, moody, portraiture–to a dignified magazine style that is highly sought after. Her Photoshop work has always been very impressive, using textures and overlays of birds (and other things) to create moody, fantasy worlds.
Now an internationally known name, she does workshops in various major cities, and continues to stretch her talents with photographs in publications around the world. At only 21, she’s an inspiration in perseverance.
((These photos are just a few of my personal favorites from her portfolio.)
