I love short films like this. They show us a little bit more of a place we’ve never been and an interesting person we’ve never heard about. This one is probably one of my favorites, just because it has the mentality of what everyone wants…a life with no stress while doing what you love.

“The Sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.”
Sea-tribes is an ongoing body of photographic work and a photo essay inspired by the ocean and marine layer… documenting the landscapes, waves, and lifestyles around various pods of eclectic surfers. It attempts to present a unique, albeit slightly nostalgic, perspective of modern surf culture. The photographs are shot entirely on film with the use of mostly 1930s-1980s era equipment. The colours are unique to the film processing technique (various slide films processed in C-41 chemicals and polaroid).
I want to hang out with this guy for a solid week.
